In their own words.....
Just the other day (well going on two years now actually) we were kinda hangin' out with the usual assortment of motley characters when the Toad started referring to Jay and myself as those "dubious internet hippies". Needless to say we thought that was a better classification than what my wife calls us. Now we wonder who else might consider themselves an "Internet Hippie," If you think of yourself as one please take the short amount of time (less than it took you to read this) to fill out our form. Then you can proudly proclaim to be a Net Hippie as well!

"The contents of my archives have been collected over the years, starting with that fateful trip to San Francisco, August, 1967. While I was in the Haight-Ashbury, I bought a San Francisco Oracle from a Hippie for a quarter, and also bought two Haight-Ashbury Tribunes from two other Hippies. I also got a poster called "Light my Fire" and another one of the Grateful Dead. The two other items I got were two Hippie buttons. Of all the loot I brought back, only the San Francisco Oracle and one of the Haight-Ashbury Tribunes survived. Anyway, here's all the neat stuff I accumulated over the years, much to my parents' disgust.
Check out the great collection of slang of the times while you are there.

Sorry folks, I will try not to make a habit of this.
- REMINISCING, a nostalgia game which includes booklets from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's (and soon adding the 90's).
Sandy Bergeson the Creative Director sent me a copy of Reminiscing and we had a great time putting it (actually, us) through the paces. With the collective IQ of about 60, our little group of players had a hard time with most of the questions. Not sure if we are all just burnt out or what.
The rules of the game are pretty simple and straight forward. As an example: Who Goes First? - The person who bought the game always goes first. If the game's owner isn't present, then the person who borrowed the game goes first.
By a roll of the dice, you determine the number of spaces you must move and the number of the Flashback question you have been assigned from a year booklet. Depending on what space you land on determines which year booklet you work from.
This is a great game and it sure brought back a lot of memories - after all, that's what it was designed for.
Check it out.

- AFTERNOON -A Magazine of Art & Literature
In their own words:
"AfterNoon is a reincarnation of sorts. Two issues of the original After Noon tabloid were published in 1969-70, before the rest of life intervened.
The original title came partly from our sense that it was getting late in the day, and partly from the fact that we had settled in California, where the living seemed easy -- much like the long summer afternoons of our childhood.
The living doesn't seem so easy now, but it is still late in the day. The forms of the past -- social, political, religious -- are clearly nearing the end of a long decline; those of the future are already partly visible, but their outlines have yet to be filled in -- we can see only dimly, at this point, how we get from here to there.
This is how it must be for us, who have one foot in the past, and one in the future. The new AfterNoon, as part of the Motley Focus Locus, is an attempt to face up to this reality -- to record what we are now as accurately as possible. The hope is that by doing so, we will have some small influence on what comes after us.
We call AfterNoon a magazine, but our intention is to abandon the periodicity which is characteristic of paper magazines. AfterNoon comes closer to being a magazine in the original sense: that is, a storehouse. Everything we put up will stay up, although if we are successful beyond our wildest dreams, we may have to develop some sort of archiving at a later date."

In their own words -
"We welcome you to Changes, a page whose home was born in the Kosmos. We believe in the capacity of the human race to evolve. Knowing that life is changes, that energy follows attention, we feel the possibilities of transcendance inherent in every cell. These are the first steps towards conscious co-creation. You, and many thousands - perhaps even millions of us -- are a new family forming. As post homo-sapiens, our joyful sacred task is to remind each other of our essential divinity.
