INTRODUCTION & MUSINGS
Welcome All!
So, what's it all about man?
Keep On Truckin' Re-Visited is a moderated newsletter/list
about the time between the mid 60s and mid 70s. It was designed
to examine and present a positive nostalgia of a time since
past. It is also designed to provide a forum for you to share
your feelings, thoughts and experiences from that time frame.
Please participate and help this community to grow.

Wow, just about let this one get by me..
I was thinking the other day what I miss most about the early
days. One of the items that came to mind was how much less
responsibility I had. No one was depending on me (at least not
much) and it didn't really make much difference which fork in
the road I took, it just didn't have much effect on anyone but
me which was cool.
Another thought I had was I had no real curfew and for the most
part my parents didn't have to worry about me much.. just would
have just given them ulcers anyway.
Now there are house payments, car payments, insurance, and a ton
of other things that influence my thinking on a daily basis. I
can tell you, it is sure wonderful to have this newsletter as it
allows me the opportunity to drift back in time and remember the
mostly the good times and of course some of the bad. Without you
subscribers, this wouldn't be possible. THANKS!
Yes, I bet you have already figured where I'm going with this..
I would really love to hear what you miss or don't miss about the
old days. Not only am I really needing some input from you for
content, but I think we all have things we remember and miss from
those days.
Next months' issue will mark four whole years of KOTRV! It would
be really cool if you all (yes, that means you) would help to
commemorate this landmark publication in time transportation in
your own special way.
So, lay it on us folks! Just send a short thoughtful clip to -
mailto:hippy@vipgrafx.com
I hope you enjoy this issue of KOTRV as much as I had putting it
together. If you do, let me know what you like about it.
I hope you all are enjoying the summer!
Peace Man!

Sustainable Living
-in their own words-
This site attempts to gather both academic and non-academic
information that will help you live a more environmentally-
friendly lifestyle and show you how to help shape a sustainable
society. Although "alternative" is a common prefix for some of
the subjects mentioned below, we have avoided using the term
because most sustainable methods have been used for centuries
and it is our current lifestyles that are, in fact, alternative.

-in their own words-
Earthtrust is a conservation-advocacy group, dedicated to

science and reality. Typically, we try to take on the
"impossible" missions, and then phase out of them once our
solutions become mainstream.

QUOTES
Quotes On Daydream/Reverie
*-*-*-*
All religions will pass, but this will remain: simply sitting in
a chair and looking in the distance.
--V. V. Rozanov, 1912
*-*-*-*
Reverie is when ideas float in our mind without reflection or
regard of the understanding.
*-*-*-*
--Locke
To lose one's self in reverie, one must be either very happy,
or very unhappy. Reverie is the child of extremes.
--Rivarol
*-*-*-*
Sit in reverie, and watch the changing color of the waves that
break upon the idle seashore of the mind.
--Longfellow

Amazon.com
To cite Gimme Shelter as the greatest rock documentary ever
filmed is to damn it with faint praise. This 1970 release
benefits from a horrifying serendipity in the timing of the
shoot, which brought filmmakers Albert and David Maysles and
Charlotte Zwerin aboard as the Rolling Stones' tumultuous 1969
American tour neared... read more at amazon.com!
