INFO ***************************************************************** INTRODUCTION & MUSINGS Welcome All! So, what's it all about man? Keep On Truckin' Re-Visited is a moderated newsletter/list about the time between the mid 60s and mid 70s. It was designed to examine and present a positive nostalgia of a time since past. It is also designed to provide a forum for you to share your feelings, thoughts and experiences from that time frame. Please participate and help this community to grow. -----> Your subscribe and un-subscribe info is at the end of this mess! -----> Wow, just about let this one get by me.. I was thinking the other day what I miss most about the early days. One of the items that came to mind was how much less responsibility I had. No one was depending on me (at least not much) and it didn't really make much difference which fork in the road I took, it just didn't have much effect on anyone but me which was cool. Another thought I had was I had no real curfew and for the most part my parents didn't have to worry about me much.. just would have just given them ulcers anyway. Now there are house payments, car payments, insurance, and a ton of other things that influence my thinking on a daily basis. I can tell you, it is sure wonderful to have this newsletter as it allows me the opportunity to drift back in time and remember the mostly the good times and of course some of the bad. Without you subscribers, this wouldn't be possible. THANKS! Yes, I bet you have already figured where I'm going with this.. I would really love to hear what you miss or don't miss about the old days. Not only am I really needing some input from you for content, but I think we all have things we remember and miss from those days. Next months' issue will mark four whole years of KOTRV! It would be really cool if you all (yes, that means you) would help to commemorate this landmark publication in time transportation in your own special way. So, lay it on us folks! Just send a short thoughtful clip to - mailto:hippy@vipgrafx.com I hope you enjoy this issue of KOTRV as much as I had putting it together. If you do, let me know what you like about it. I hope you all are enjoying the summer!
